The series was made during Covid lockdown in an old house in Southern Germany. The home had belonged to a WWII widow who never remarried and had her status included on the door bell till her death. The walls stripped bare reveal layers of different histories included remnants of text declaring it a military kitchen. Skin on cool walls and dusty floorboards, survival, architecture and new beginnings. A different type of performance time allowing to be in front and behind the camera at the same time.
